The dialogue begins to close, and Bhairav gathers the whole teaching. Everything — pleasure, pain, all experience — comes in through the senses; let them go, and you rest whole in the Self (136). All things are lit by consciousness, and the Self lights them all, so knower and known are finally one (137); and when the four — mind, awareness, individual energy, self — dissolve, that dissolution IS the body of Bhairav (138). Then the famous count: these wave-less (nistaranga), thought-free teachings have been given as one hundred and twelve, and to know them is to become a true knower (139). The fruit is stated without reserve: whoever becomes established in even one of these dharanas becomes Bhairav himself — his word carries power, he transcends age and death, he is beloved of the yoginis (140-141). These are the traditional 'fruit of the teaching' verses; read them as the dialogue's summation, not as a technique.
indriyadvārakaṃ sarvaṃ sukhaduḥkhādisaṃgamam ।
itīndriyāṇi saṃtyajya svasthaḥ svātmani vartate ॥
All pleasure, pain and the rest arrive through the gates of the senses; withdrawing from the senses, one rests whole and healthy, abiding in one's own Self.
jñānaprakāśakaṃ sarvaṃ sarveṇātmā prakāśakaḥ ।
ekamekasvabhāvatvāt jñānaṃ jñeyaṃ vibhāvyate ॥
All things are lit up by consciousness, and the Self is what lights up all; being of one and the same nature, knower and known are experienced as one.
mānasaṃ cetanā śaktir ātmā ceti catuṣṭayam ।
yadā priye parikṣīṇaṃ tadā tad bhairavaṃ vapuḥ ॥
When the four — mind, awareness, individual power and self — are wholly dissolved, O beloved, that is the very body of Bhairav.
nistaraṅgopadeśānāṃ śatam uktaṃ samāsataḥ ।
dvādaśābhyadhikaṃ devi yaj jñātvā jñānavij janaḥ ॥
These teachings on the wave-less (thought-free) state, O Devi, have been told in brief as one hundred and twelve; knowing them, a person becomes a true knower.
atra caikatame yukto jāyate bhairavaḥ svayam ।
vācā karoti karmāṇi śāpānugrahakārakaḥ ॥
One who becomes fused with even a single one of these becomes Bhairav himself; his very word accomplishes deeds — he can curse and he can bless.
ajarāmaratām eti so'ṇimādiguṇānvitaḥ ।
yoginīnāṃ priyo devi sarvamelāpakādhipaḥ ॥
Endowed with anima and the other powers, he becomes free of old age and death; beloved of the yoginis, O Devi, and lord of all their gatherings.
